Vatete Charitable Organisation is a domestic abuse charity rooted in compassion, love and faith, committed to providing a haven for men, women, and children facing the harrowing effects of domestic abuse. Our multifaceted approach revolves around three pillars: support, education and empowerment. we offer unwavering support to survivors through a network of dedicated counsellors, and a helpline. Our team strives to create a safe and nurturing environment where survivors can heal mentally and physically. Through one-on-one counseling, group therapy, and support groups, we address the unique challenges faced by individuals and families affected by domestic abuse. Education plays a pivotal role in breaking the cycle of abuse. We conduct awareness programs in communities, schools, and religious organisations, emphasising the importance of recognising signs of abuse, promoting healthy relationships, and fostering an environment of empathy and understanding. Additionally, we offer educational resources tailored to both survivors and the broader community, ensuring that knowledge becomes a powerful tool in preventing and addressing domestic violence. Empowerment is at the heart of our work. We equip survivors with the skills and resources needed to regain control over their lives.
For children affected by domestic abuse, we prioritise their well-being through specialised programs addressing their unique needs. Child counseling, educational support, and recreational activities contribute to creating a nurturing space for them to heal and thrive. Collaboration is key to our success. We work closely with law enforcement, legal services, educational institutions and healthcare providers to ensure a comprehensive and holistic approach to tackling domestic abuse. What we do
VCO offers support services for men, women and children experiencing domestic abuse, resources and advocacy. In person
counselling services tailored to the need of the beneficiary is provided in person by experienced counsellors working with
our organisation. Trained professionals will offer empathetic listening and guidance, helping victims navigate the emotional
turmoil associated with domestic abuse
